The main focus of Amanecer is to assist homeless children.  It works to rehabilitate children suffering from drug addiction and abuse by offering support programs and helping children to find jobs or create their own business. One example is the formation of a rug cleaning company. This is a source of employment, and also an inspiring model of entrepreneurship for other children.

The work of Amanecer is very complex and the rewards can only be measured by the happiness and satisfaction of seeing these children freed from exploitation and drugs.
