Friends of Bolivia, Inc would like to inform everyone to be aware of a group of heartless and dishonest people cheating and swindling charity organizations in Bolivia.

Members of this group of people claim to be connected with the  United Nation (U.N.) organizations, including someone claiming to be the Bolivian Ambassador to the U.N., who are giving an equipment grant to the charity.  They are asking the charity to send thousands of dollars to New Jersey for shipping the equipment.  After the money is sent, there is no way to contact the group.  The phone calls are not answered, and nothing more is heard from them.  A few charities have been victimized this way.

Most organizations giving equipment grants to charity include the cost of shipping, or find some way of shipping it without asking the charity to pay for the shipping first.  It is all a big scam, so please do not fall for their tactics and do not send money, unless you know the person very well. The US police, Interpol, and FBI cannot do anything to protect the charities.

Please be on the alert !!!!!!!
