Friends of Bolivia is proud to
recognize individuals who have had influenced the
organization, and have also done good for mankind.
Here we profile two individuals who had a great influence on
us. Father McCabe
was one of the founders of Friends of Bolivia. He
guided the organization through its early days, and helped
it get 501c3 status. In the early days, the meeting
took place at his residence. Friends of Bolivia was founded thanks to a letter from
Virginia Blanco to
Luisa Lopez. Virginia Blanco was a philanthropist who
helped set up Policlinico Rosario, one of the organizations
supported by Friends of Bolivia. She is now being
considered for Beatification. |
